JAI 11

Closed Purse

Open Purse

What a challenge this weeks is. I had to actually use my brain for a change LOL.

I have spent far TOO MUCH time on this challenge, BUT I do love the outcome.

I have cased it from SPLTCOAST STAMPERS GREAT idea!

I have HAND embosed a piece of card to get alligator skin effect. (Took night after night in front of the TV to complete). I have stitched around the edge of the whole pures & also around the floral strip & corners as well as the leather look strip on inside of purse with the closing stud; BY HAND! I had to painstakingly put 1mm spaced wholes every where 1st before stitching it.

Hope you like my effort at a Faux Purse.

Card Stock: Close to cocoa, designer paper.

Cotton Thread: DMC 3862

Ink: Versa Mark with Clear Embossing Powder(LOTS TOO)

Embelishments: Hodge podge Hardware brad & frame, a mirror.
